Measuring tools are small, dense and unhappy about being dropped. Caltura Plaza packs and dispatches every order itself from Jaipur, and this page gives the actual numbers — handling, transit, cost — rather than a vague promise of fast delivery.
Cut-off and handling
Orders confirmed before 3:00 PM IST on a working day enter packing the same day. Handling takes 1 business day, Monday to Saturday. In that window we check the tool against your order, confirm the jaws or the display power up, and seal the case so the slide cannot travel in transit.
How instruments are packed
Calipers ship inside their fitted case, taped shut, then boxed with fill so the case cannot rattle. Laser distance meters travel in their pouch inside a rigid outer. Angle gauges with magnetic bases are boxed away from anything the magnet could grab. Nothing goes out in a padded envelope, whatever its size — a courier belt is not kind to a measuring face.
Delivery times
- Metro and large-city PIN codes: 2–4 business days after dispatch.
- Rest of India: 4–7 business days after dispatch.
- Transit overall: 2–7 business days depending on distance.
- Order to doorstep: 3–8 business days, handling included.
Consignments move through Delhivery / DTDC. Remote, hill and island PIN codes routinely add a day or two on the last leg — that stage belongs to the courier, and we do not quote dates we cannot hold.
What it costs
Free on orders of ₹1,499 and above. Below that, a single flat ₹79 for the whole order — not per tool, and nothing added afterwards. The figure is on the cart page before you pay.
UPI and Cash on Delivery
Pay by UPI in advance or choose Cash on Delivery. COD reaches most serviceable PIN codes; some remote routes and very high-value orders are prepaid-only, and checkout shows what applies to your address before you confirm.
Tracking
Tracking goes out by email and SMS as soon as the courier scans the parcel. A day without a new scan usually means a hub transfer and is normal. If nothing moves for over 48 hours, email [email protected] with the order number and we will chase the carrier ourselves.
Batteries and cells
Digital calipers and meters ship with the cell fitted or taped alongside, as the listing states. Cells are consumables — a flat cell on arrival is replaced, but a cell that runs down after use is not a fault.
Accuracy is as printed, not as certified
We quote the range, resolution and accuracy printed by the maker on the instrument or its documentation. We do not supply calibration certificates and do not claim traceable calibration for anything we sell. If your work needs a certified instrument, buy from a calibration house instead — we would rather say so here than have you find out later.

India only. Caltura Plaza is online-only, working out of Jaipur, Rajasthan, with no trade counter and no collection in person.
